Booster Sessions

Step 1 -- The summer academic program curriculum design  featured mathematics skills based on MDSE and PGCPS indicators, aligned with students' pre-test results. (See summer program's pre and post test results).

Step 2 -- Booster sessions reinforce students' summer academic experiences while providing tutoring and enrichment support for learning the mathematics skills that students need for success in the classroom. Unique partnership with PGCPS schools facilitates communication regarding students' school performance related to standardized tests (Maryland School Assessment and High School Assessment), district tests, and classroom grades. These school progress communications, combined with students' academic performance in the program, is used to tailor schools booster session academic experience.

Learning Community

Booster sessions feature family workshops which will occur at the same time of students’ instruction. Would you like to suggest workshop topics of interest to you and/or the community? Do you know any community leaders that would like to present family workshops? Please provide this information when you register your student for the Booster Sessions – see below.
